AIKMAN WILDLIFE ADVENTURE
I currently serve as the Digital Marketing & Advertising Manager at Aikman Wildlife Adventure, acting as the organization’s primary point of contact for all external communications. My role spans social media management, paid advertising, website content, newsletters, and media relations. I develop and execute strategic content, manage and optimize digital campaigns, and analyze performance metrics to drive measurable growth across platforms.
Soaring Social Growth: 69k to 94k Followers
During my time at Aikman Wildlife, I used my strategic communication skills to execute successful ad campaigns and create engaging content. As a result, I was able to grow our Facebook following from 69,000 (a number that had remained stagnant for four years) to 94,000.
Soaring Summer Attendance Numbers
Summer is our busiest season at Aikman Wildlife Adventure, so I set a goal to launch targeted ad campaigns designed to get customers to visit the park. These campaigns resulted in a significant boost in visitors. Take a look at the numbers below to see the impact these spring campaigns have made.

Growing attendance at Aikman Wildlife's monthly community events has been a key priority since I stepped into this role. Since 2023, I have implemented strategic relationship building initiatives and targeted event campaigns that have significantly boosted attendance. Collaborating with Local Creators
During my time at Aikman Wildlife Adventure, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with several content creators to help the organization’s digital presence. I was responsible for finding creators, managing all communication and coordination, and supporting content creation. Reels developed using video content I captured resulted in over 1 million views across platforms.

MATTOON AREA FAMILY YMCA INTERNSHIP
This is a small display of the projects I did at my first internship with the Mattoon YMCA's Marketing Director. My work there included community engagement, social media management, event promotion, press releases, and website management.

PUBLIC RELATIONS WRITING + PRODUCTION
For my Advanced Public Relations Writing class, I created a brochure for the Coles County Animal Shelter with the primary goal of increasing pet adoptions. The brochure was designed to highlight the shelter’s work and emphasize the positive impact of adopting a pet. I carefully crafted the content to make it both informative and persuasive, encouraging potential adopters to visit the shelter and consider giving a forever home to an animal in need. This hands-on experience showed me the power of effective communication in driving positive community engagement and social change.
